Farewell Piers - and thank you!
After 14 years as a member of the Association of Building Cleaning Direct Service Providers' (ABCD) National Executive Committee, Piers Conway- Hyde had to say farewell at the recent meeting in Wakefield.
Piers is changing role with Numatic International and will no longer have the remit to work with Local Authorities, so his place on the committee will be taken by another colleague, Guy Tudgay.
The picture shows Piers with the ABCD Chair, Kim Phillips, receiving a thank you gift from the association for his dedication and enthusiastic support over all these years.
When asked if he will keep this personally engraved bottle of St Nicholas Abbey Barbados Rum forever, Piers replied 'the bottle yes, the contents… perhaps not!'
