Mitie has secured a new three‑year contract with Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust to deliver clinical waste management services
Mitie will use innovative autoclave equipment that treats waste with high pressure steam which can then be recycled, which is a more sustainable method than the traditional high temperature incineration process
Mitie’s specialist clinical waste business, Cliniwaste, will be central to the delivery of the contract

Mitie has secured a new contract with Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, to provide waste services across Queen’s Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital. The contract will run for an initial three years with the option to extend for a further two.

Office Market Transforms As Flexible Workspaces Gain Popularity

As a percentage of their total square footage, on average, 36% of respondents’ office space is currently dedicated to flexible or coworking space.
On average, they anticipate this to grow to 54% by 2030.
10% of landlords predict that their portfolio will be almost entirely (91‑100%) flexible workspace by 2030, up from 3% currently.
Over half (52%) of landlords believe that their office buildings need to be redesigned or retrofitted to meet changing tenant demands and needs.
