International NEBOSH Diploma Holders Recognised By IOSH

NEBOSH diploma International holders of a NEBOSH Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals are to be recognised by IOSH for membership applications.

Holding a NEBOSH Diploma demonstrates the achievement of a recognised and relevant qualification and meets the academic requirements to apply for GradIOSH membership.

From July 2023, the NEBOSH National and International Diplomas will be regulated by Ofqual, offering regulatory protection to Diploma assessments taken anywhere in the world. This means that qualification holders from any country can use their NEBOSH Diploma for IOSH membership applications.

Nicole Rinaldi, IOSH Director of Professional Services, said: “IOSH is pleased that the NEBOSH Diplomas will be regulated by Ofqual and meet our rigorous high standards of accreditation, giving international learners another route to IOSH membership.

“This provides additional choice, flexibility, and opportunity to join our vibrant international community of OSH professionals.”

The NEBOSH National and International Diplomas for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals are also recognised by BCSP, BCRSP and IIRSM for qualification holders wanting to pursue membership with a range of global membership bodies.
