PTSG To Service Sites For Real Estate Giant JLL
Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) was formed in the KU in the late 1990s and now has offices in 80 countries worldwide, employing over 100,000 people. Services include investment management, asset management, sales and leasing, property management, project management, development, and property technology.
JLL manages the London offices of the social media company Facebook. In late 2021 and early 2022, JLL made two “proptech” acquisitions. In November 2021, it purchased the property management software company Building Engines, and in February 2022 it acquired Hank, a company developing AI‑based technology to improve energy efficiency of buildings.
In this three‑year contract, engineers from PTSG Access & Safety Ltd will carry out testing of fall arrest systems at numerous sites for JLL. Fall arrest systems are put in place so that if a person should fall, they won’t hit the surface below and risk serious injury. Regular testing and maintenance are required by law to ensure they remain operationally robust and able to protect people at all times.
Glasgow Royal Infirmary Seeks Specialist Help From PTSG
The Glasgow Royal Infirmary is a large teaching hospital. With a capacity of around 1,000 beds, the hospital campus covers an area of around 8 hectares, and straddles the Townhead and Dennistoun districts on the north‑eastern fringe of the city centre of Glasgow
It was originally opened in 1794, with the present main building dating from 1914. In 1856, Joseph Lister became an assistant surgeon at the Infirmary and a professor of surgery in 1860. In 1875, a student of Lister, William Macewen joined the Infirmary surgery as an assistant surgeon, becoming a full surgeon in 1877. While at the Infirmary he introduced the practice of doctors wearing sterilisable white coats and pioneered operations on the brain for tumours, abscesses and trauma.

Churchill Square Retail Centre Shops With PTSG
Owned by Standard Life Investments, in common with the Brent Cross Shopping Centre in London, Churchill Square has up to 85 shops (when all are let), in addition to several sites for “open‑air” style stalls in the corridors. It is arranged over three floors with only the food court on the uppermost; some of the largest stores occupy two floors. The majority of the shops are chain stores, typical of many other large British shopping centres. Additionally, on the outside piazza there are several food vans.
This large project will see engineers from PTSG Access & Safety Ltd engaged in installations of new fall arrest equipment as well as repairs to existing systems.
