PoGo Charge Expands In‑House Legal Capability By Appointing New Head Of Legal To Its Leadership Team

Agne Jeri Donat, new Head of Legal for PoGo Charge PoGo Charge, one of the UK’s fastest growing ultra‑rapid Electric Vehicle (EV) Charge Point Operators (CPO), has appointed Agne Jeri Donat as its new Head of Legal to support the continued expansion of the network, and achieve its aim to build a network of 4,000 ultra‑rapid charging points by 2027.

Agne brings seven years’ experience in commercial property law, specialising in renewable energy projects. Her appointment will strengthen PoGo’s leadership team, support its growth plans and its mission to create a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Her appointment is the first step for PoGo Charge in expanding its own in‑house legal capability to support the swift rollout of new EV charging locations for its network.

The need for an in‑house legal team follows major partnerships that signed with London and Cambridge Properties (LCP) and Kew Green Hotels among others last year that will see PoGo Charge deploy more than 1,000 ultra‑rapid charging points by the end of the year.

As Head of Legal, Agne will be responsible for navigating the complex legal landscape of renewable energy initiatives. She previously worked at GRIDSERVE, delivering legal services for projects such as EV charging hubs, solar farms, and electric forecourts within the renewable energy sector. This experience will be pivotal in negotiating real estate transactions, helping to mitigate risks and avoid and/or unlock potential impasses with landlords and landowners.

Agne says she is joining PoGo Charge at an exciting time: “The team has ambitious plans, and I can already see that they have the drive and agility to achieve them. With several major partnerships secured last year, I am looking forward to what we can do next to support the rollout of ultra‑rapid charging across the UK and build a more sustainable future.”

Stuart Douglas, Managing Director of PoGo Charge, is delighted to welcome Agne to PoGo’s leadership team: “Agne has a track record of negotiating high volumes of real estate transactions. Her deep understanding of the legal intricacies across renewable energy development projects combined with her pragmatism will strengthen our legal strategy and support our ambitious growth plans.

“Her appointment is a testament to the reputation PoGo has already developed in such a short space of time, helping us to attract the best talent who share both our vision and ambition for the future. We look forward to growing our in‑house legal team this year as our pipeline and deployment schedule continues to accelerate.”
