It's well known fact that businesses must comply with the Environment Agency's Pollution Prevention for Business advice. However, our research shows that only 15% of manufacturing businesses are familiar with the guidelines their business must adhere to.

Similarly, over 75% of businesses said they were unaware of the serious implications they would be subject to if they were found to be in breach of environmental legislation, which could include both an unlimited fine and a criminal offence with potential for imprisonment.
